Downtown Prescott has a small town flavor with the center square holding the granite courthouse in a beautiful setting of green grass and large beautiful trees. Nestled around the Prescott National Forest, there is an abundance of hiking and mountain bike trails as well as scenic rides by car or motorcycle. With nearly 450 miles of hiking trails in the 1.25 million acres of the Prescott National Forest, you may just wear out a pair of boots trying to hike them all.
Want to slow things down and check out the Art and History around the area, Prescott offers museums and Art Galleries such as the Smoki Museum. Ready to entertain the kids, check out the spot Children’s Museum. Needing an Art fix, the Mountain Artist’s Guild hosts emerging artists in Prescott.
